Clockwork Orange 92/93

Just a quick pic of my new old bike

I'm in my late 30 and when I was a teenager my older brother bought a clockwork orange that he said was the best bike he ever owned. It got pinched out the shed and he went on to own a P7, cannondale m800 and a mtrax ti 1000 or somat of the sort. Anyway to this day he loved the clockwork and said it was always his fave.

24 years later and I saw a bike come up on ebay as I was looking for a retro bike for myself and it was exactly the same (except parts) .. shame it was £425 (now reduced to 375) so I was reduced to sitting back and watching as my budget was on a couple of hundred quid. That led to me posting a wanted add on here .. 2 days later another clockwork orange came up wich was also exactly the same, and I was able to make a deal with the owner who is also on this site. Was even lucky enough for it to be less than 7 miles away. Im over the moon. Ill be adding a few bits to it as I go but I'm hoping to keep it pretty much the same. Anyway I wanted to show her off ..

If anyone see this and is a clockwork orange owner I'd love to see some more examples of the bike, hopefully one day mine can look as good as some I've seen. Im in two minds if I should get the bike powder coated in the same colours or leave it as is? Also iv managed to strip Ll stickers from the bike, and i have some on the way but there not the exact same retro ones. Im unsure if I should put them onor not? I could get the exact same ones that were on the bike but they are quite expensive and I'm skint atm lol. Do I wait and buy exact same or just go with clockwork orange in a slightly bolder font? Any advice welcome. Im thinking of having a black seat post and handle bars also and I know someone with a set of pace rc35 shocks I could possibly buy when I can. Again any advice welcome

Its got all suntour group set and my initial plan was to upgrade but I actually like them after having a few blasts around on the bike. Still unsure if I should leave the suntour xc parts on. All advice welcome... im really wanting some hotrod bars?!

Very nice Clockwork.. i would leave the paintwork, looks fine as it is. Plus its great in my opinion having a Suntour Specced clockwork. Overall you have a pretty much perfect Clockwork 1992.

Yep, leave the paint alone. For the correct decals see Gil_M on here as he has them on file and his repro's are ace.

Nice project is that, watching with interest.

I'm rebuilding mine atm.

Very nice Clockwork.. i would leave the paintwork, looks fine as it is. Plus its great in my opinion having a Suntour Specced clockwork. Overall you have a pretty much perfect Clockwork 1992.

Thanks ... yea im gonna leave the paint work alone for time being, I mean it has knocks and scratches but nothing major..thanks for your reply, gives me a idea what others would do.

Took the old battered decals off my bike, and iv been given gils email so ill order some proper ones. Im just a bit skint atm but needs must quick pic of her atm...

(As a side note if anyone trys uploading a pic from a phone and it says file too big just screenshot the pic and upload it from screenshots.. works everytime) ..
