All the above was for a tandem that didn't materialise because the framebuilder was s**t. In addition, I've just been let down by my boss regarding the Cycle to Work scheme. They said I could have a bike - and then they said I couldn't (the barstewards)! Alas, I've put a deposit down on a bike (cue violins) that I was buying for a charity event in September, that I now can't afford. Hence all the money from these sales are going towards that. :roll:

From memory, the supplying dealer of a bike to work scheme bike pays 10% of the cost of the bike to the bike to work scheme supplier, so you hopefully can negotiate a decent discount by not going through the scheme

Not heard of anyone not being allowed a bike on it before, but would have to say I'm not surprised

My boss is a git and my employer decided to tell me that I couldn't have it as I work from home for three days of the week, which classes me as a "homeworker". :roll:
