Slightly off topic in terms of sale, but I bought one for around the same price recently and can't figure out how on earth it fits on. I don't suppose you could share your experience with fitting/removal could you? It's more the seat post part that has me scratching my head.

I think that there was a fitting that secured through the hole in the end and the the little crossbar (drilled) at the top of the seat stays.
However, I don't understand how they secure to the lower part. Do you need a bike with fitting points for mudguards or do they somehow grip round the seat stays?

darn thought i'd sold it then.

Easier to show you the packaging on one of the NOS ones i have

Yep, they also originally came with a large plastic "p-clip" like bit for those without a bolt in the right place.

You'll need frame with mounting points, or extra p-clips.

Another free bump, these p clips you mention, are they readily available?

If they're not then send me a friendly PM including your address

Feel compelled to offer a cheeky tenner for the bum guard now I'm here anyway...?! :D

might as well get rid of thew NOS orange and purple ones too as I'm not going to use them £15 each posted - still sealed in the packets with all fittings.
