Clear cable tubing/sleeve

Hi

i cant seem to find any where the clear cable tubing that goes on the exposed cables on my top tube. dont want to put donuts on as have 1 missing out the three.

does anyone know???

Best thing to do is to get a length of gear outer cable, run a blade along the length and peel off the black outer, the steel strands should then fall away to reveal...... the required plastic tube!

was having a look for some 2mm ID teflon tube. . .

Silicon would be no use would it?? A bit sticky perhaps?

teflon that sounds about right, i seem to remeber you could buy it by the length you just cut it off a roll.

There's always the option of some clear heatshrink from somewhere like Maplins. I use the black type instead of cable ferrules.

was thinking of heatshrink earlier . . if it's suitable it's cheap as the proverbial chips...

I know heatshrink comes just big enough to go over cables as I mentioned I use it instead of ferrules.

Silicon tubing/fuel line.

I bought some 2mm Internal Diameter/5mm external tubing from this guy a while back. Does grip the cable slightly but no problem really,0.5/1mm larger ID would be perfect.
