Hi guys, I'm new around here and to be honest know very little about retro bikes but I do have an old bike for sale. I has recently had a full service by expertbikerepair and rides beautifully. However, I am getting a new bike so this has to go. During the service one of the gear levels wasn't working and it was replaced with a MicroShift model.

I think it was new in around 1990 but I'm not 100%. It rides very well but is in need of some cosmetic work or a respray....it's tatty really.

Not sure how much it's worth but shall we say £100 but collection only from Barnsley South Yorkshire. Service was £84 so it would nice to get my money back on that at least.

If anyone has any further information on the bike please post, I won't be offended.

Likely 1990 or 1991 based upon the components. Only go for around £60 sadly, even though yours looks fairly tidy.

It was a little more than a service, new break pads, peddles were siezed up so they had new bearings, new hand grips, new inner tubes and nearly new tyres. It had been in an outhouse for 12 years so everything was dry as a bone Nd all parts were soaked overnight in grease of some sort. Picked up and then dropped off, I was happy with the price.

If its only worth £60 then that's my asking price, no point in it sitting here not getting any use.
