Claud Butler Mixte identification

I picked up this bike over the weekend. It was literally a barn find that had been left unused for many years. From the pics can be seen the rusted chain etc, but luckily the frame has only surface rust marks and no dents, and the seatpost and stem move freely. Wheels are true. Plenty of work to get stuck into over the winter.

Frame number is 059044X

There is no model name, but possibly it is a Majestique.

Can anybody ID the model and year?

1982/83 Majestique is my guess, the ladies version of the Majestic. I've got the 1978 version of this and the '84 version Majestic and yours is somewhere in between.....

In fact - I'm going to say 1984 based on the 531 badge. The '84 catalog suggests the Majestique was available in Gold.

That looks just about right with some differences such as mine not having the lamp holder on fork and side-pull rather than centre-pull brakes.
