Hi, up for sale here is my 1940s Claud Butler 22” lugless frame and forks with matching serial numbers.
It's another project that's not going anywhere so I'm putting up for sale if anyone fancies a go at it.
Pictures tell the story, rusty dent in the top tube and cropped rear drop outs all need attention to put right.
Some over painting of the original white finish and generally scruffy all over.
Don't know the model name but I'm sure Peachy will! Forks are nice though.

£30 plus Hermes/Evri carriage costs.

Evening, first gut reaction is an International Club. Based on the fillet brazing, Continental drop outs and double plate fork crown. Though I’ve not seen one with those top tube stops & without down tube pump pegs. But then those sort of details can get specified by the original customer. GWTS :)

So @Captain Stupido whats the plan? and will we see a new build thread soon?

Well… plan is to build it up and see if I enjoy riding it before I think about restoration work to the frame. Not sure what sort of spec at this stage but probably whatever I can find in the shed…

I’m very pleased to own an early lugless Claud and will share progress as, when and if it happens!
