Claud Butler For Sale

Elizabeth

Retro Newbie
Hi All,I have a beautiful 1950s Claud Butler for sale. I have had this bike for more than 20 years and last year decided to have her renovated. This was done by a bike enthusiast and she now looks immaculate. She has been re-painted in pale blue and has original Claud Butler stickers. Most of the parts are Campagnolo and are in full working order. Any questions I will be glad to answer, though I have limited knowledge of all things technical- sorry. Any serious offers considered. Thanks for looking.

Nice looking bike.

You might want to post it in the for sale section. Also, rules dictate that you place a price on anything for sale.

Where in the country is it, and what is the frame size?

Good luck.

Hi, Sorry about that! I live in Wrexham. Price wise I spent £400 on it last year, with re spray etc. The bike apparently has some great gear on it which I can detail if you like. Looking for around £1000 for it. Thanks.

As for frame size , The top tube measured from in front of the seat pin to the point where the frame joins the head tube is 54cm. Also the inside measurement of the seat tube appears to be the same, but overall length is 58cm. From the floor to top of top tube is 80cm..Hope this answers your query.

Hi Elizabeth
nice looking bike. but I think the price is very optomistic. I suggest you have search around on the for sale section to give you an idea as to what you are likely to get.

more photo's of some of the detail will always help if your technical knowledge is lacking.

Good luck.

Thanks for that, I will re post in the for sale section with more pictures. The reason for the 'optimistic price' apparently some of the Campag stuff is quite rare. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
