Hand built in England....more likely it is a bunch of parts gathered from around the world, shipped to Blighty and assembled there. ...

Funny thing was I used to sell them and the label should read 'rebuilt by bike mechanics in Action Bikes who actually know what they are doing' as most came from CB in such a state that you'd have to start again with them.

They weren't expensive bikes when new, around £200-£250 and most of the parts were very low end (remove those steel bar ends or the steel stem and bars and you save a pound or two in weight, remove the OEM tioga psycho and you save another 1lbs). The frame was the gem of the bike, not amazing but for the money loads of people upgraded heavily

Love the handbuilt in England sticker, Alloy frame almost certainly was not built in England and as the frame is the only bit most manufacturers actually make the label is a tad dishonest.

This has been brought up before. The sticker's claim is very ambiguous. I once asked a C.B. rep about that bitd and he said that the bikes were assembled in the UK from separate parts thus the sticker was legal. If it had said "Handmade in England" then it would have been legally questionable.

It all comes down to terminology. The bike was built in the UK and not made in the UK. I know most people won't see the difference but according to the law they're different things.

Haha well it nolonger has any stickers, I raided a friends part bin and have a pair of suspension forks, his old disc brakes and new crank
