The DR is an ex track bike in 531 with Sturmey Archer 3 speed, same owner since 1960s

Seller said she'd like about £150 each, but is open to fair offers and prices. I have no idea of worth and did say they could easily be worth a whole lot less.

I'll keep an eye out for replies and will be happy to help find an appreciative new home for either of these bikes.

I know nothing about these bikes - can anyone enlighten me? I usually frequent the MTB threads.

The Claud is Holdsworthy- probably early '80s. The Claud Butler- badged equivalent of a Holdsworth Special. 531db throughout, Campag ends. It's a good frame.
Check out Peachy!s '81 Colstar thread in "Reader's Road Bikes."
