It's a 1995 (black) Claud Butler Cape Wrath 653 and would have looked like this;

Thanks for the offer LGF but in the cold light of day I realise I’ve got enough on..... they did muck about with the braze-ons, see the FR derailleur seat tube stop on both mine and the one on eBay both have it further down the seat tubes.
Although as for rack eyes, the only difference I can see is where someone has had a bracket put on for a disk brake (along with a strengthening strap?) and I’m guessing the upper pair are at a different place to the brake hanger because it’s a smaller frame?

Any hoo it’s too small for me....

I did get an answer back from the seller (Not LGF). He replied make him an offer that includes postage.... NB if you do, make sure you clearly state offer must include posting to your Post code. (Obviously)

I think I upset him... I offered to cover postage + a fiver for a pint... his counter offer was £500 :shock: :facepalm:
