It looks like a 91, but the serial number should tie it down.

Same date sprang to my head the instant I saw it.

gazz, by the time they had no holes in the rear drop out they still had rack mounts (early 1992 I think) then I think when they went top route cables they dropped the rack mounts, give or take when stock ran out/new stock came in. You've seen pictures before with them on, you've just never noticed them

yeah should be, mine was later and 1 inch so should be the same.

Frame number is A910310573. All though I said this project was going in the loft I have already started looking for parts

BTW, got a spare Stalk if your after one. Serial number suggests October 1989 I think. Could be wrong though.

There is an extra digit.

March 1991 is my guess.




(I don't know really but I know they had Prestige frames in 1990, but in 1989 wasn't it just the clockwork and hence the frame raced to win the UK Champs by Tim ?)
