New to biking. need help with parts

Hi,

I got an Old Scott Timber CrMo 16" bike with an ancient? Shimano Altus C20 group set. the rear derailleur broke this evening as i was enjoying my first few rides with the bike. The rear derailleur was a Shimano Altus A40 from what i've read it appears to be a Six speed system.

What parts can i get to replace it? i may need to replace all shifters and the rear derailleurs. will your parts suffice?

Hi,

But the one for sale is a 7/8 speed system. mine has an MF-HG20 which is clearly a 6 speed freewheel hub.

The ones i have are not in the list
They will work with 6 speed,all it needs is adjustment to the rear mech to suit your 6-speed hub
