With the bar: you would like to know how to fixate the center section?

My thoughts are:

- won't the pressing force by the stem clamp hold it in position?
- alternatively something like Locktite for cilindric fitting could possibly be used.

I would have thought that with a bar like this, you would fit it to a stem with a removable front clamp, most of those have a hole where the stem stem tube is. So why not drill a small hole in where that is and put a pop rivet in there, then it will be hidden from view :?:

thanks guys, for 'real' use the pop rivet option sounds the strongest, and glueing might also be an option. clamping it harder with the stem doesn't work as the ferrule spreads the pressure over the 'inner' bar surface. we'll see how this goes...
