As its the season of goodwill, I thought I'd karma off a frame set I bought recently. It is a ridgeback 602lx frame and fork (Tange Cro-Mo double butted iirc) in a fetching white with blue spatter. Frame has a few scratches, scrapes and some surface rust in a few places, but nothing to worry about in any way, it is straight and true. When I got it I spent a bit of time cleaning and polishing it and it is actually pretty nice and shiny considering its age, and as it is a splatter finish, easier to hide chips and scratches should you wish. The rear mech hanger has been grey primered so I assume it has been straightened using heat at some point in its life, but a very long time ago judging by the patina.

The frame will come with matching forks, freshly greased and ok headset, blue stem and bars, seat post (not seized), diamond back saddle, shimano qr seat clamp (a little rusty, a part I did t get around to cleaning) and th canti brack cable doodle that fits between the seat clamp, similar to those found on alpine stars and early oranges.

The bb fitted is shot - it's an older style one that I don't have the right tools to remove it (pin and lock ring).

White bottle cage too.

I can also throw in the original blue cable outers and some original ergo style Madison grips.

Size is 18 inch I believe (too small for me sadly or I'd be keeping it).

All I ask is that it is collected, or I can box up if you want to arrange a courier.

I have some odd wheels I can throw in to get you up and running for a bit of cash (front is a hope hubbed (blue, with some minor cracks) laced to a world force black diamond aero rim (silver), the rear is an stx laced to a black sun mammoth - £20 for the pair if taken with the frame).

Ho Ho Ho, merry Xmas.

Is it this one Ian?

Great bit of karma.
I am very tempted but I have to concede that I have too many bikes at the moment...

Very tempted...

That is indeed the one.

Pics now up - not quite as nice as in the pic you provided, but still good considering it's age.

As I may have mentioned, I am tempted.

If this is still here on Boxing Day then I'll take it. It'd probably be a good bike to hang my MT-60 groupset on...

Karma

Hi,
I would like to register an interest in this very generous and festive Karma. Yes please!! And wheels too!! Not sure if I'm first on the list or not!
Cheers
Steve
