Chris king no logo looky likey!

Hello chaps! I tried to contact Chris King on a few occasions to see how many headsets I'd need to order to get a batch done with no logo but I never got a reply so now I've found a company that makes an identical headset and they agreed to send me a batch of 50 with no anodizing or logo's on so we can chose the colours ourselves my idea is that I'll get all the used components I need to go on a build strip the old anodizing off and send them for fresh anodizing with one of these headsets that way we'll get that NOS look without the years of searching and all the anodized parts on the build with match (I am aware that different grades of ali will return slightly different colours before anyone pipes up! )

Basically I have to many for my own use and so will be selling the remainder off at £20 a pop if anyone is interested?

What sizes are they ? Would be interested in a 1in plain alloy if the quality is as you say CK level

Is it a case of sellers flogging these for ~ £300 NOS on the bay ?

What do you mean exactly? Looks similar? Makes the knock-off ones that are on ebay?

Looks identical, quality seems good and actually responded when I asked if I could buy a bunch unfinished so I could make the colours match the rest of my parts.

The internals aren't identical but it is a sealed bearing unit and the movement is nice and smooth, happy to refund including return postage if not satisfied.

What sizes are they ? Would be interested in a 1in plain alloy if the quality is as you say CK level

I don't think there's much in it between these and the CK ones and they're a quater of the price plus you haven't got the hassle of striping an old headset (which to get right is a ball ache!)

I'm not a CK snob, but I don't think sticking off the shelf sealed bearings in a ripped off headset shell design equates to the same quality as a CK headset.

They indeed look like the fake CK's offered on Ebay sometime ago..

That's a fair point mate that's why they're £20 though and I did try to amend the title to Chris king looky likey like I did on the for sale section I'm not trying to pass these off as Chris King headsets as I said in the original post I did try contacting Chris King a while ago to see how many headsets I'd have to buy to get them to do me a load with no logo but they never responded this was the next best thing and I'm happy with the quality I have had Chris King headsets in the past which is why I wanted authentic Chris King no logo ones to go on my retro rides but this was the best compromise I could find and again they're £20.

Again they're well made look very similar and are £20 I set off to get Chris King to do us a batch of no logo headsets but as they couldn't be bothered to answer I went searching for an alternative and this was what I came up with. It's a good headset it looks like the one I wanted it has a sealed bearing and it's £20

I'm such a muppet sometimes I tried that earlier but clicked on the big blue title at the top rather than the subject bar and wondered why it was refreshing the page!
