This baseplate is designed for Chris King headsets manufactured after 4/1995.
(It will not fit earlier Chris King headsets. I know because I bought this new last week, only to find it was the incorrect part.)
It has been fitted to my bike just to see if it would do, it has had a quick spin up our cul-de-sac and back so it's as close to new as you can get without paying full price. Bargain at £10 delivered.
