Black 32h Chris King Classic ( non disc) rear hub.

Bought this hub on here as part of a set of wheels, and have chopped and changed them about in a totally OCD fashion and am now left with the rear hub and a full front wheel spare (see other ad).

Those that know me will know I have had some minor hassle with this wheelset. This Hub freewheel seems to slightly drag in the smallest two sprokets when on the biggest chainring. You don't notice it unless you back pedal, then it drags and hangs a bit until you stop back pedalling.

I have recently had the hub completely stripped and re-built and serviced by Evolution including a new needle bearing and all the right oils etc and they are of the opinion there's nothing abnormal about it and it should wear in and ease off on the two sprockets. My lbs agreed with this too as they've seen new ones do this occasionally.

As I say, you can easily live with this and there appears to be every chance it will just wear in, but it's only fair to be honest and open with people that it does do this in a couple of sprockets. (11t +13t when on the 46t front)

I just prefer my old Hugi's and have got too many wheel configurations so one has to go.

As with my other ads, I'll upload pics on Monday at work as I have a 56k dial up at home.

£110.00 posted.

Thanks for looking in.

CK

Mr Wu...had exactly the same experience with my ISO CK rear hub. Had it rebuilt like you at Bromley Bike shop, and at first a little drag but it eases with miles. Totally normal...so for anyone thinking of buying...don't worry.
Cheers, Carl
