Chesini 58cm

Hi all,

got this beautiful Chesini I'd like to sell please, beautiful early-mid 80s racing bike. This bike is Columbus tubing (although I'm not particularly sure which) it's a superb ride. The lug detailing on this bike is exceptional, only second place to a Colnago. The drop-outs are chrome with detailed pantographing plus the fade paint-work looks ace.

This bike has been used but there are no bends, dents or mechanical faults. The bike has had brand-new bar-tape, brake and gear cables making it a super efficient bike to ride, everything works as it should. As you can see there are a few bits of surface rust but rather than painting we've decided to keep this bike original as it's simply stunning.

The frame is 56cm top-tube and 58cm seat-tube.

Spec:

. Nervar chainset
. Ofmega headset
. Especiuc gears (can't quite read the detailing on them but they are real quality items, nice pantographing, drillium and the rear mech is a classic 'weight weenie' style mech)
. Weinmann brake calipers and levers
. 3T bar + genetic stem, brand-new Surfas cork bar-tape
. genuine leather iscaselle saddle
. Mavic clincher rim on Mallard hubs - Schwalbe Lugano tyres and tubes

Lovely and bargain price.
This is a Chesini "3 volte campione del mondo" and I think it's from the 70s and possibly Columbus SL.

Where?

In picture 4 and 5 I can read 3 volte campione del mondo.
I think the "3 volte campione del mondo" was on a few models?

Oh that's the Columbus tubing. Not the bike model.
So good spot.
Columbus Zeta tubing, a cheaper model then. Still a great frame.
