Wanted Cheap tapered headset with ec44 lower cup

Looking for something cheap as not 100% sure if it will work.
Frame currently has a semi integrated headset running 1 1/8 forks and I'm hoping I can fit a tapered steerer fork via the headset I'm looking for.
Anyone got anything or can point me at a cheap one online?

I use the Madison/M-Part Elite lower EC44/40 (HPT531) when I need to fit a tapered fork to a straight 1 1/8 headtube. RRP is £35 but it looks like you can get them online for around £25. Cheaper than the Wolf Tooth and Cane Creek versions.

Gusset (from ison distribution) sell headset upper and lowers separately too, and offer many fixes - we carry stock, maybe your lbs does too?

I'm not normally one to scrimp having become a parts snob since joining rb, but in this case, especially as it's an experiment really, I'm willing to ignore my usual standards and go as cheap as I can.

Unfortunately, adapting one quality standard to work with a different one usually costs a few quid.
There's no mass market for the "flog it cheap" brigade to scrape pennies off.

Not sure what you mean. Just after a cheap tapered headset to try and see if I can run some tapered forks on a bike frame I have with semi-integrated cups currently.

There used to be loads on eBay but not so much now, hence the question.
