’m after something for my lad to use to hang around with his mates without me having to stress about his bike which is far too much of my n+1 for him to leave lying around when he’s playing football or climbing trees.
Ideally will be something low maintenance so thinking of a 24” rigid singlespeed jump bike - open to suggestions though.
Good running order and reasonable cosmetic condition
Nothing too flash so that it’s not likely to get nicked when he’s half way up an oak tree
Nothing too BSO/heavy – my shed has some standards!
Not too expensive as I’m paying and he doesn’t have a paper round to pay me back
Be big enough to last him a few years until he finds out what girls are all about
