Cheap Rocky Mountain Stratos ending soon !!!

It always amazes me on auctions for 15+ year old frames you get some one asking if it has disc mounts...

is this an 18" then? definitely not a 16"????

They did 15.5" in 1992 and 1993 (then 17.0 and 18.5"), the 1991 started at 17" upwards. It looks a lot bigger than a 15.5" to me....best email the dude.....QUICKLY

If his 56cm (22 inches) top tube measurement is correct then if he's dead accurate its an 18.5", if he's a tad short its a 17".

A 15.5" frame would have a 20.75" top tube.

Q: It looks identical to the one in the 1990 catalogue - did it have red decals originally? There was a size 17 (c-t) with top tube 21.7 and an 18.5 with tt 22.7, so which do you think your measurements seem to correspond best with? many thanks 17-Aug-08
A: Hi, i would imagine its a 1990 model as i bought it early in 1991 & the 91 model had orange forks as far as i know! i think from my measurements its going to be 18.5 as i measured directly along the top tube & the catalogue measurements are probably for effective top tube? i will have another measure up later on & let you know if its any different from above...

Q: Hi there, Can you give me the measurement from the centre of the Bottom bracket, along the seat tube to the centre of the top tube please? preferably in inches. Ta, PABS2803 13-Aug-08
A: 16 inches centre to centre 18 inches centre to top

already asked, looks like an 18.5 - I just wondered if anyone (well, you Neill) knew any different ;) ho hum, I already have a T.O project on the go, I can do without another.

Just missed out too, think its a retrobiker that got it mind.
