(Cheap) Klein Attitude?

He's a business seller, doubt he's offering a bargain. Doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about though if you read his description.

Guess suspension rather than rigid is the obvious minus for most.

Re:

There have been several times when he has sold repaints as originals even when it's very obvious they are repaints and that fact has been pointed out (i.e. this font was not available until 94 and the serial number is a 91). I would be cautious.

He always says they have gradient tubing, regardless of which Klein it is, so he's no expert.

I saw a Rascal of his a couple of months ago with really manky suspension forks, like they'd been resprayed without proper prep and the magnesium has reacted with the paint, which wasn't mentioned in the ad.

This bike among with several others he has were Klein repaints. I have seen this bike in person and it's very nice, it came from Leucadia cyclery and for whatever reason they come up with many repaints. There is another seller on here and ebay who is selling some Adroits, some of which were also repainted by Klein.

I would prefer to deal with MK or others on this board. No personal ill dealings with the seller but it's a pretty tight little community, especially for Kleins and definitely in the US, so for what it's worth he has some nice hardware but as Martin mentioned, most all are resprays and the components are always a bit weird and not technically correct.
