I've just picked up a 2000 fire mountain that's going to be the baby carrier. Most of its in good nick considering how little I paid but the stock RST fork was crap when it was new and worse than useless now. So, I'm looking for something to stick on the front, either ridged or short travel but the steerer tube needs to be pretty long, 250mm min. I'd prefer something period, but anything is considered (p2 would be ideal). I don't mind doing a repaint if they are in bad cosmetic condition as long as the mechanicals are sound and they are cheap cheap cheap...
