been searching hi and low for a dogs bolx..........sadly cant find one anywhere.

was thinking about going for a frame direct, anyone dealt with them recently?

any idea how much a dogs bolx bike build will be from them? bearing in mind the frames are £900.

Love mine so much so I have another on order. You just need to put down a deposit of £400 get down to London to be sized up or send Chas your dimensions in the post, the wait is currently about 2 months.

Me having some fun in the Snow at Cannock earlier today:

Roberts website says that the frame only price for the bolx is £1,050 not £900.

As for a full build it obviously completely depends on what you want on it. It would be easier to say what your budget is and ask their advice on how best to spend it

earlier in the week it was £900, i went on yesterday to get there e-mail address and it had went up to £1050!

I was in there before Christmas, and they had a lovely carbon stayed Dogs in the showroom... :P
Get down there and have a look . It will take you at least an afternoo to decide on the colour!

I had a Genesis from them and the quality was excellent - except the paint. The laquer had not stuck to the paint properly and flaked. However, in fairness, they stripped and repainted without any argument and the final finish was good.

The fillet brazing looks nice and the price is quite good considering it is full custom. However, before you order, check out the new Pace 104. It's fillet brazed 853 and costs less than half as much.

the carbon stays are a paint effect to match pace forks they did for a magazine article and showed at bike show 4/5 years ago

as others said they will build up what you want -tho they dont like forks over 100mm due to geometry

i had my genesis built up by them with some parts they got in for me and using various parts i already had which they were happy to do

my paint has chipped a bit but it's 9 years old and i dont keep it in cotton wool so might just be the hard working life it has had
