My park tool is ace. And my old 'cool tool' still works too!

+1 for the Park CT-5, original pin and at least 5 years old and I've taken apart some rusty crap with that tool!

I also have the wee park chain brute,its my second as i stupidly sold it amongst all my tools[when i last got fed up with bikes]

The big park chain tool really is too big for occasional use,plus it costs forty quid
The brute is about £12

I've used the cheap ones and you spend more time trying to either re-straighten the pin or trying to locate it correctly,with the park ,you just place the chain in it and turn the handle,you dont really need to check its located
Topeak alien version is also bollocks

i've got one of these, never yet failed me, works good with all chains i've used, i've never used hollow chains though.

Bought a Park as per recommendations. I think I have about half a dozen bent and broken ones to throw out.
