So first time ever using a chain tensioner and I may have ballsed it up,I put it on but the small black cage (unsure proper name) that hgoes around the jockey wheel was grinding whilst the chain was in motion so I took it off but can't figure out how it's meant to sit,its off for just now,is this piece actually needed?
Appreciate any pics of one on a bike to see how it's set up.
