hi guys and girls i brought some more bits from crc as usual but this time fround the bits i wanted in the flood sale so i brought some shimano 5600 105 brakes in silver a front and rear pair was on offer for £35 so i snapped it up on opening the order i noticed that there was two fronts i ask for a returns number for the spare front and got this message first

so if i make a mistake with someones order who spends loads with my company i only let them have there money back instead of doing the right thing and offering to replace the calliper even though it was my mistake and not the customers :roll: :roll: :x :x :x

am i wrong in thinking that this is taking the pi55 a little :shock:

Just to inform you that as we unfortunately have no Rear ‘flood sale’ Shimano 105 Brakes the only way that we will be able to sort this is if you return the incorrect model that you received for one of the new non-‘flood sale’ versions, in doing this there will be a further £15.99 charge that will need to be taken for the price difference. Would this be ok?

Alternatively you could return both of the 105 brakes you have received to us and exchange them both for the non-‘flood sale’ versions as these are now on sale at £50.

Good morning James to be fair i dont think i should have to pay out to post these brakes back for a mistake the pickers made in crc's warehouse and that the wrong front brake i resived should be replaced at crc's cost for the correct model rear brake i ordered as i did order a front and rear i dont mind covering postage to send the front back to you as long as i resive the right brake caliper in return if made a mistake at work it would be sorted out straight away at are cost as its the polite thing to do best regards from Dan.

the thing is since this i brought the brakes iv'e got myself from them a hope ht2 bb and dura ace full cable set the bb is here but the cableset hasn't shown up :roll: :roll: and i ordered that first go figure.

i think they are (legally) correct in what they say but i agree with you, they should take it on the chin, especially as its only 15.99 they are arguing over.

how about offer to meet them half way and pay £8 to swap for the correct rear

got some news from the act helpline there legally in the wrong as they did not fill the contract we took out when i purchaced a front rear by sending two fronts there now just taking the mick i havn't heard anything back from them yet either slackers :roll: :roll: i cant belive they argue over £15 its mad :shock:
