Ceramic Rims / Brake Noise ?

Mine have always been as quiet as a mouse, although they do seem a tad noisier/scratchier than regular rims when wet and muddy... I always put that down to harder pads tho

Certainly no squeaks however

Thanks 8)

I should have been a bit clearer - I am not referring to squeal, more of a rough / grinding noise, even when clean ?

Cheers,

I run Magura grey pads with 217 Ceramics and it always sounds a bit more grindy, more like slightly muddy rims. Sort of a low rubbing sound?

...felt a bit more abrasive to me...like a normal rim with a bit of sandy ness! But that made for a firmer stop.

Thanks guys, this confirms what I am getting :D

Kind of a gritty / sandy sound but everything is either A) clean or B) new :D

I had the sane when using xtr ceramic pads. I bought some different ones and were much quieter. The shimano ones seemed to glaze easily.
