Cats

i am not a huge fan of cats but had a horrible incident last night.

found one dead in the road about half a mile from a village and a few yards from a motorway junction. poor fella looked ok. no blood or anything.

looked for a collar but nothing. decided to move it off the road (incase the owners go looking for it - i would think its more pleasant to fond kitty still looking like a cat.

and that's when it's eye came out. i nearly hurled. i laid him down so his good side was showing though i suspect he'll have been mauled by now.

poor thing

i thought you meant the racial slur

ernie -

lewis - some tale  poor kitty, when i was younger my puppy jack russell got ran over
looked worse than it was, poor little fella was THAT frightened, he was fine though :)

My 3 cats I have had have been called Frank, Murphy and Kevin. I named an ex girlfriend's cat Ralph.

I like giving cats human names.

My parents had a Kevin too. As for the remarks about cats and gardens, ours took offence at seeds and new plants being put in "his" garden and would promptly undo Mum & Dad's hard graft by digging up all the seedlings etc. later on!

I inherited one cat when me and my ex partner moved into the house then got another as a kitten. Have never had cats before and I really like them, they're always friendly and look after themselves when I'm out overnight. The main problem is with them stealing my GFs food when she's making tuna sarnies for work in the morning!
