Tried charging battery and it didn't charge. Read on internet that lead acid batteries loose there ability to be recharged if left flat for long periods of time. Think thats what has happend to mine? Anyone know of a way to get them working again?

No need! I had this problem last year with my Vistalites. I bought an uprated battery from Maplin for less than a tenner, and soldered the connections on. Instead of 1.25 hours at full wack, I now get 3 hours, or 6 hours at half throttle.
