I did contact him to say i thought that was too expensive and if he had copies made im sure they would sell better @ say £20 each but no answer :?

I had all the pivots,collars and springs made for that amp F4 BLT done at a cnc engineers and it cost £90.The engineer upped the alloy to a modern high strength alloy[T6 alutec or something,cant mind now] and made a nifty device for preloading the springs when fitting them on,which made it wonderfully easy

The only issue i see is that a No4 calliper[the non IS calliper] is 185 standard and if it increases the rotor to 203 that would be bad as the only early bombers ive seen with the mount ripped off was from people attempting to use the 203 rotor.
The No5 caliper is normally 165,might find that a No5 with the mount adaptor could give you 185,but i dont know for sure.I think ill try to get hold of Big.Eck,he's well versed in early bomber mounts,and i think he made one :?

Well it's at 35 now so you could buy it and clone it then sell copies?

whoops i hadn't read his advert, yeah that couldn't have cost 75 quid surely...what's it made out of titanium?

That's about what I thought. I'd do it simpler if I were to make one. As far as his cost goes, he's probably embellishing it by quoting shop rate. "shop rate" cost on the derailleur hanger would have been similar. What it would have cost him to make it after hours or "on contract to the government" (during working hour on the sly) would have been just his time, so much less.
