How many bikes is too many?
I really tried hard to not buy this bike. It was listed locally for months! 1989 Cat M3 all original down to the tires. But with a very custom DIY paintjob. For a whopping 30 Euro! The only problem is - I don't have a need and I have too many bikes. But just look at that paint.



I mean...
it was downright heroic to wait 4 months. If I may say so myself.
In the end I caved.

The story behind the glitter paint ist that the original owner of this bike had an old VW flower power bully bus and was working as a car painter. He painted the bus and made the bike to match. Sadly the bus is gone. I really would have liked to see that combo.

Fun fact about the bike brand: CAT. They have nothing to do with the famous yellow machines. They even got sued by the "original" and changed their name to CATs in 1990.

I cant beleive the originallity of that bike. Nothing was swapped (except the grips). Everything still works perfectly. Even those first gen trigger shifters.
