Not wishing to break up the Lovers Tiff here but doesn't it depend on the leverage ratio rather than the actual length of the shock as to how much travel you get ? ie ratio 2:1 = 3"travel shock ? just a thought

yeah i know what you mean but my old banshee had a shock that was around 200mm eye 2 eye and i tried to fit a smaller shock (165mm eye to eye) and the frame linkage would hit the seat tube

I would've said 190mm i2i as it's what was on my Stinky and the frames are pretty similar but 200mm sounds good.

yeah apparantly they are made in the same facotry, i mean the have the asymetric chainstays and that. you could be right, the shock that was on my banshee was an x fusion glyde rl i think which wouldve been around 190mm
