Carraro Senna 440 Shimano condition as new unrestored for sale !

True, as I stated before, this is very specific bike and extremely rare, it's value is not in the components (above average, low top end for 90's, frame excluded, top end) but in the legacy. Few bikes (3 or 4) that appeared on the market in last 10-15 years were in bad shape and in some cases probably fakes. 👍🏻
Components are bottom end and is why it seems odd to people where components are a key feature of a bike, not the chap that has his name on it. Will look great in someone garage next to a Honda NSX or F1 car.

Hello all,

Did anyone see this speedbike Ayrton Senna 990, made by Cararro in Italy?

I would be interested to know how many bikes Carraro had made of the 990 version.

Many thanks in advance. Cheers.

Another one for sale, price aligned with bike condition.
If doesn't sell it will be sold for parts (and fetch much more).

Carraro Senna Pole position 66 promotional bike, from the first batch produced, barn find.
Tubing Columbus Genius.
Front fork Pace RC35 Kevlar 1994.
Shimano XTR M900 complete groupset 1994.
Handlebar ITM Ergal 7075.
Handlebar stem Carraro anodized Ergal proprietary CNC engeneered unique piece.
Rims FIR Ciocco.
Saddle San Marco Bontrager Titanium.

No pedals.
No handlebar extensions.
Paint has few small chips, no corrosion, overall very good.
No decals on Pace RC35.
Decals Senna, Carraro and Pole position 66 on frame need restoration.
Tyres should be off road colour white.

Overall condition very good except decals that generally need restoration.
Bike was standing still for years, it is visible on the groupset that seems mint.

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
Quite a few vehicles had the Senna name slapped on them BITD. I'd be interested in an MV Senna for that kind of money.....
Nothing is slapped, it is all original and you can find and compare it with identical bike that was selling for 2.300 gbp a few years ago, mine is 1000 euro. And on eBay XTR M900 alone is selling around 1000-1500 euros. And for MV Senna maybe you lost few zeros, or you should add three zeros.
If you take a look at the begining of the post, Carraro Senna 440 was sold for 2.400 eur, amongst many sarcastical expert observations. Ditto.
😂

Nevermind, as stated, if doesn't sell it will be sold for parts. Posted here because true conosseurs will recognize the value.
