Carlton frame number

Hi,can anybody date my bike from the frame number? Its a carlton cobra and the number is C265073.

"C" prefix is 1948-52, however I'd hazard a guess that it's the 1968-72 period where Carlton numbering went a bit pants

That's the one.Just started cleaning it up.

Does it have the more fancy Crespera lugs? Cobra was my first proper bike on the early 70's. Mine was red and chrome being 5 speed. Blue was usually 10 speed

Just cleaning the blue off the headtube lug and it has 73 stamped on it. Year of manufacture perhaps?

It's the angle in degrees of the lug
