Late Flyer with fish tail track ends and semi wrap round stays but with the transition to the prugnat style lugs. 1972 at a wild guess from the number and style.

I have the same model frame with fish tail dropouts but with the classic Flyer lugs.

Way beyond my means right now - currently scraping together parts for the Raleigh.

But it's a beautiful frame - stunning.

Here's a couple of pics of mine, some before my ownership.

I bought it to finish it in Lagoon Blue and White but when I took some of the thick powder coat off to look at the detail / frame number etc I fount it had been fully chromed so not sure what to do with it now as it's been blasted and the chrome underneath is not good......

and here's the lagoon blue I was thinking of.....

Beautiful frame - fortunate to own one. How long have you had it?
Even though that Carlton lagoon blue is my favourite colour, the chromed frame in this case looks that much better.

How about chroming it again? There's an electroplater near my home in London - not sure how much they charge, any near you?
