I like how it says how the price of composite stuff will continue to fall til you can get them at walmart... or in fact just keep going up...and UP!
 
certainly Chinese made carbon is cheap. Perhaps not at Walmart levels.

Is it any good though? Thinking of buying a cheap frame but not sure about quality.
 
^thing is anything can break, eve mainstream companies...it's just that with the non name chinese stuff, it's more than likely perfectly fine... but it also very well might be crap and you don't know till it's too late.
 
Agree with Ted. I'm a carbon snob and like to keep Europeans in work.

The writer would be american because he forgot all european stuff : The Exxon Craftek bike in 1975, first carbon fiber bike ever made, Peugeot in 1983 with Pascal Simon and his PY10FC and… Bernard Hinault and Greg Lemond with their TVT in 1986 (first victory of Carbon Fiber in the Tour de France)
In MTB, Mecacycle made prototypes around 1986which win the Paris Gap Dakar race and Francis Glatz in Switzerland made a full carbon fiber MTB…
