Looks that way - there seem to 16 redundant holes with little bolts in them. Also, hubs look they could be standard 32 hole as well, with carbon 'spokes' bolted in to 16 of said holes. Weird. Can't imagine they make for a very stiff wheel with large portions of the rim tensioned in one direction only on each side. All of which is to say: I haven't got the faintest idea who/when/why.Are they made with standard rims?
It's an interesting idea. looks like prepreg sheet, which is dirty cheap, some custom fittings for sure at the rim. it should be reasonably stiff but I suspect somewhat more compliant to a side impact.Looks that way - there seem to 16 redundant holes with little bolts in them.
