Looking for some carbon 1" forks, would really like a straight Easton EC90, but anything is of interest...

- Threadless, carbon or aluminium steerer
- Minimum 200mm steerer
- 43mm rake
- Weigh under 5kg

Cheers :)

They look nice, how heavy are they?
Do you know the rake, and how much is your friend asking for them?

Thanks :)

not sure about the precise rake. usually these forks shall have 42-45mm or so. he'd be ok to end up with 100€ for forks and headset. i'll text him for weight.

Re:

Know what you mean, thanks for the heads-up.
I found a couple of similar new forks online but I thought I'd ask here first. I would actually trust secondhand carbon forks in good condition from a reputable brand and seller.

Re:

I hear you, before this my friend was a big fan of this lightweight Mizuno 1" carbon fork on his Ibis:

Yeah, he had an accident, but I've never seen a steel/alu fork do this, and the incident was made far worse when the bike fell in two. I am aware that this is not evidence per se, but I have seen too many carbon forks and frames with cracks/fissures in hidden places that people haven't noticed to risk buying them second hand.
