Hi guys.

Is it possible somehow to use canti brakes on a frame like this? Maybe i can use the little thing some kona frames has around the seatpost tube?

why would you want to? v brakes offer easy power, and are a cinch to set up.

they'd also be period correct.

weld on a stud on the wishbone and repray it Dekerf green (or for the full on effect get Dekerf to do it for you and respray it for you!)

I could do that, but i have just resprayed the frame in dark metallic green.

Problem with the kona one was that it was one piece alloy and so wouldn't slip over your seat post clamp on the frame. It would also mean that the cable would run at a very odd angle out of the front cable stop and that would cause loads of friction.

The really early ones are nylon or some such plastic so would probably be flexible enough to fit. Gotta find one though
