Cannondale rear dropouts

I've picked up an old frame and the rear hub spacing seems to be 125mm at the back instead of the usual 135mm. I can fit a standard hub in but it's obviously flexing it 5mm each side.

Were some older Cannondales made this way? Can anyone offer any info?

Seriously, Cannondale made 2 rear hub spacing frame : 130 (for the old 6s hubs) and 135. The first number of the serial number tell you if it's a 135 (beginning by 5) or 130 (beginning by 0 if I remember)
Look at vintagecannondale
