Cannondale M800 Beast of the east

Dutchrider

Retro Newbie
Hello retrobikers,

A new member and Cannondale fan from Holland.
I found this M800 on our lokal marketplace for a fair price.
I changed a couple of little things:, pedals saddle seatpost, but the problem is the stem.
It was in realy bad nick... so i wanted to replace it.
But. ...Its from 1994 and that means the stem is 1.1/4 inch ,so its very hard to find a nice replacement.
I prefer a silver one, 130 mm long.
Maybe some suggestions?

stems for these are not easy to find
i ended up machining out a 11/8" one , a gt one as it had enough meat on it

Nice looking bike :D

+1 for an Atac

There's a 1 1/4" Controltech on eBay

Thanks for all responses.

I think I will go for an Anwer or Control tech.

The Control Tech on ebay looked a little bit damaged, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

By the way, this are my other Cannondales all from the same year : 1994.
