Looking for a Mountain 1000 frame
Champagne to light gold in colour, with the solid black main decals.
I think now, it's 1992. I'll check when I can get to it.
For my collection 16 to 20 inch, in size would be perfect.
I don't need the force 40 pivots.
Undamaged or, in as good original condition as can be found.

Thanks again.

Mike.

Re:

Not what you're looking for specifically, but I have a very nice '93 M2000 frame and forks if you don't have any luck in your search.

It's the one with the nice blue fade, and matched Pepperonis.

Re: Cannondale M1000 Frame only, in gold.

Thanks BB, be great to trade with you again, I'll have look. Pm coming at you.
I've got an immaculate M1000, near perfect condition, peps, headset, all the xc pro, just with a mangled lower seat stay, after being mistaken for a speed bump.

So I'm still looking for an M1000 as ^^^

Re: Cannondale M1000 Frame only, in gold.

I want you a good luck in search
90-91 'is certainly not a model M but SM ... the same frame,
also according to the catalog there is no 19 "size.....15,18,20,22''.....
the desired gold color is in the catalog 92 '....I own the black color of this model 92 'in 18' 'by the catalog .... but the serial from 09.1991..... :D

Of course, among other things, I would really like to see a photo of such a bicycle in gold color sheme
because I have not been able to see him anywhere  apparently rare

Re: M1000

Thank you very much. I think you are 100% correct and 1992 could be the year, The colour is possibly more "champagne" so excuse my colour blindness (I see yellow, more as green!)

I'm not good with technology, so I will try to attach a basic and older image I have here.
If you think it could be of interest, please feel free to pm your email address, so I might send better quality photographs to you. I will get to the cannondale today, it's at the back of a "growing to-do pile!" I will then look for the frame number on the dropout.

Best regards from Scotland!

Mike

Re: Cannondale M1000 Frame only, in gold.

Now clearer ... Sahara Gold is the official name of the color
I honestly expected something more golden and two-color.....Black has in itself a pattern of gray on the fork and middle tube....considering that my bike stripped of paint when in the restoration process :)

driving well  Best regards from Croatia

Thank you very much for the information!

I think it will be hard to find one, especially in as nice original condition as this.
Huge pity, the previous owners wife, ran over the rear end, whilst reversing from the garage. I have it now, to try and save it, but needs to be kept as original I think.

May the wind be at your back!

Mike.
