1999 Cannondale F700 Frame & Headshox Fork - Team Volvo Blue

Size - 20" (centre of b/b to top of seat tube)

Disc and V-Brake Compatible

Fatty D Forks with lockout (2.75" travel)

Iris Blue

6061 T6 aluminum TIG Welded frame

Will come as a frame and fork set, with seatpost, seatpost clamp and stem. Wheels are not included.

Frame has a few marks, which I think is to be expected from a nearly 16 year old mountain bike. Some scratches and stone chips and some signs of oxidation below the paint. Still looks pretty good to me though, great colour to have a Cannondale in, in my opinion.

Headshox had a service a few years ago which involved replacing the needle bearings etc. Rarely used since although may be worth considering servicing them again. Headset bearings feel a little gritty, although these are pretty cheap to replace. Lock out doesn't fully lock the forks out, but does reduce travel down.

I'd like just £100 for this! Plus postage.

Re:

I wish I was a little bit taller... (cue Skee-Lo,'I wish'!)
If anyone has this in a 17" and wants to get rid please let me know! :-)

Re:

I just wish I could sneak this beauty on the garage without the missus seeing! You're right, this is Cannondales finest livery. Looks stunning, somebody is going to snap up a bargain. GLWTS.

Re:

Seriously good-looking bike, and my size too, Sadly, no room at the inn, unless someone wants to buy one of the bikes in my sig ?

GLWS

You're not helping!
Is the stem specific to head shock frames, or is just a standard stem ok?

Had to Google it, but:

All Cannondale Headshok and Lefty forks use the Headshok size stem which is and has always been 1 9/16″ diameter, just larger than the current 1.5″ standard. There is no compatibility with 1.5″ stems.

Plenty of different Headshox stems about though as they've been using the same size for decades :)
