Cannondale Beast of the East

Wife is insisting I thin the herd so here is my Cannondale SM800 Beast of the East.Frame was dent and crack free and was originally in 1991 colours.I had it powder coated in Vermilion and finished off with some of Gils decals.Size is 20" large.

Build is not catalogue, but works well.Wheels are 1995 Nukeproof hubs laced to Mavic 237 wheels, tyres are modern Specialized Fastrak.Brakes are a mixture of M739 XT levers and modern 2013 V brakes.Saddle, seat post and stem are modern, but I will include the original stem.Gears are XT M739 rear and XT M737 Front.Shifters are XT 7/8 speed thumb shifters in good working order.

Wheels have done less than 500 miles from new (off my dad's proflex),chain and modern chainset were new,as was the NIB 13-30 cassette.
New UN55/56 bottom bracket and new Ritchet Logic headset.

Been out on it three times since building, just setting up gears and choosing tyres, but has to go.

It's on Ebay at the moment, but looking for £240 or offers on a paypal gift from here

Re:

Yes,but the wifes right, you can only ride one at a time and since I made this one I have not used it.When we went to Scotland recently I automatically stuck my other off road bike on the rack because it has full suspension.Best this one goes to a good home.

Plus I have developed a hankering for a full carbon modern road bike and I am already pushing my luck with her indoors.

Go on you know you want it.Didn't sell on Ebay despite 28 watchers and one time waster who said he wanted it but failed to follow through.

Open to offers, can't be many of these in the South West.

Re:

I was randomly scanning the forum for a pair of wheels for my dale
When I spotted your ad
I would have to move one on myself though
And I'm up north mate
Surprised it didn't sell
