I'd describe the BB as the ultimate maintenance free robust urban commuter 8)

Just jump on & ride, fast & smooth.

Tried road bikes but for Birmingham roads there a non starter as they feel weak & don't inspire confidence, the BB bridged the gap between road & mtb perfectly & made me :D everytime i rode it.

Think there was a BB thread on here from owners & how much mileage they were clocking up on them but can't seem to find it

Just do your homework & choose the model that best suits your needs.

MInes a medium with the alfine 8 speed hubs, i've tweaked it with magura brakes & some flat carbon bars 8)

Yours looks fit! But like I say I need funds first so there's a good chance she'll be away before I can afford it. Cheers though

Re:

I'm 5"8 with 32 inside leg & the medium fits me like a glove as pictured, but my Raven is a large ???
In the past I've always tweeked a medium with setback post & a slightly longer stem for comfort, but if it's too Big your stuffed

Medium will be ideal.

I had the 2010 26" v brake badboy (£400 new!)....awesome and bombproof.

Sold it when I was riding fatbikes.....missed it badly!

Just bought the 2014 badboy 9 this month and it's 700c/disc brakes makes it a bit faster and stop better than my old one, though it's £599 is a bit more it will pay for itself with 6 month easy.

Where abouts in Newcastle did you buy it? Can you buy just the frame? Tbh for £600 I think the groupsets is crap, Altus sunrace and alivio, for that fact I don't really want to buy new.
