I understand the idea, but don't think it's a good one.

It's very well executed though, well done!

I know it's 10 years ago. Just trawling through readers bikes and I love this.

Not the sort of thing I’d want on technical downhill descents with public traffic on the roads when on the drops……

Agreed 100%. If I owned it I’d have to put road brake levers on it. Apart from that I’d be happy.

What are you trying to achieve here?
Broken fingers?

Why are the levers spaced so close together?
It looks very... hipstery... (that is not a good quality)

Put a straight block cassette on there and be done with it.

Beautiful bike, nicely executed, I kinda get the reason behind it, but it scares me.
