I have a theory about Audis – seem to be driven by idiots who have upgraded from BMWs. Nothing worse than been tailgated by them when out driving or riding. Also, it can be a tad annoying when team strip roadies cut you up and whistle or holler at you to get out their way, when commuting by bike.

Groovy, so right that BMW drivers used to be the wankers on the road, now its the AUDI drivers Yeah, the halcyon days of just riding through pristine countryside with a good bunch of mates, the sun on your back, no benign prostate hyperplasia and a big feed at the end, then train home half asleep....

There's was nothing better than a bunch of us charting new routes, exploring old quarries, woods & forests, the high moors, chains of hills, or wild woolly coastland, without a soul around. Happy days...

Is it my eyes or are most modern Mountainbikers not as fit as we were bitd. They mostly look sluggish to my eyes or maybe it's the effort of hoiking 30lbs of full susser about.

Meant to mention - I own an Audi and it's true; stop concentrating for more than a minute it reverts to driving like an utter cock. I really have to pay attention to maintaining my manners...
