Can you powdercoat an M-Trax Ti1000

Just wondered if anyone had tried it?
My frame is battered and badly needs some kind of painting/coating, but I'm worried because aren't the titanium parts bonded into the steel parts? Can that survive a powder coating?

Cheers guys :)

It can. But you need low heat. Or try a respray. Brian routes in Stoke on Trent could do the two tone paint for £150. More than the bike is worth but would be safer. Try the dynatech appreciation thread too. Some have had paint done on theirs and some recommendations too.

On the dynatech thread a couple of people mention getting them powder coated so I think I'll try it. Also it's 1/3rd the price of painting which is appealing :-P

Given it's value... Have you thought about trying it yourself? I mean get a powder coater to strip it then the world is your turnip
